The Vickers MG Team in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World can kill enemy infantry if the gunner can survive while setting up his tripod. Its Entrench ability provides extra range and protection from enemy fire, but also renders it immobile (hotkey E).
The Vickers Machine Gun was first used by the British in early 1912, a modified version of the Maxim Machine Gun. A highly deadly weapon capable of firing over 600 bullets a minute. The gun was usually supported by 5 or 6 soldiers in order to be used best. More than 50,000 of these guns would be produced during WWI, and would later be used on British and French aircraft.[1]
