Description[]
The Transport ship is the first mode of transport available in Empire Earth. It is used for transporting units across water to other land areas. A convoy of Transports massed at enemy AI Docks often signal an incoming attack.
Strengths[]
As the first mode of transportation in the game, it is extremely useful in conveying units across water, especially in Large and Small Island games.
Weaknesses[]
The Transport has no means of defending itself and flees if attacked. Thus it can be easily cut down by Warships, Towers, and land units. If a Transport is destroyed before it unloads the units within it, the units will die with it even if the Transport is near land.
