- For other buildings of the same name, see Tower.
Description[]
The Tower is a defensive building that automatically fires on enemies in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. It can also detect stealthy units.
Towers vary greatly from civilization to civilization. No civilizations have the same hit points or cost for their Towers, and few share attack values. Frankish and French Towers are the weakest, but they can garrison up to five units inside to give +15 (Franks) or +22.5 (France) attack to the Tower. They also have the Tower Barrage ability, which fires a spread of projectiles, causing damage over a wide area (100 power, hotkey B).
American Towers are the strongest, but also the most expensive. Korean Towers have shorter range, while Russian and United Kingdom Towers have longer. English and United Kingdom Towers are the only ones to also cost wood.
