The Surveillance Van is a French support vehicle in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. It has a large Line of Sight and detects stealthy units. It will also reveal enemy units in its area that are covered by fog of war. It has no attack, and must be protected by other units.
The Surveillance Van is a mobile espionage vehicle that gathers intelligence regarding enemy positions and transmits the information to military planners.[1]
