The Subject is the English Citizen unit in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World, used to gather resources and to construct and repair buildings. They are created at the Town Center.
Subjects do not construct buildings like other Citizens; instead, they only initiate construction, and the Mason's Guild automatically finishes construction.
