Description[]
The Spitfire Fighter is a Fighter Plane in Empire Earth. It is unlocked in the Atomic Age - WWII. Its functional attributes are identical to those of its German counterpart, the FW190 Fighter.
By default, this aircraft type is unavailable if a game is started in the Atomic Age - WWII epoch. In order for a player to to get this aircraft type to become available, they either have to begin a game in an earlier epoch and then progress to the WWII epoch, or use the Scenario Editor's 'modify tech tree' effects and triggers to make the P-51 Fighter (the aircraft that replaces the Spitfire) unavailable and the Spitfire available.
Strengths[]
This plane is strong against ME 109 and ME262 Fighter/Bombers, Heinkel and B-17 Bombers and Nuclear Bombers such as the B-29.
Weaknesses[]
This plane is defenseless against anti-aircraft units such as Cruisers, 88mm AA Gun and the Flak Halftrack.
