Description[]
The Short Sword is a basic unit of the Western faction in Empire Earth III.
Strengths[]
Slow melee unit, ideal for taking out enemy Anti-Cavalry and Anti-Infantry. It can gain the abilities:
- Torch – Allows swordsmen to throw torches onto buildings, setting them on fire.
- Pierce-Resistance Armor – Trains swordsmen to block and dodge arrows or other ranged weapons, reducing damage received.
Weaknesses[]
It is weak against Shock Cavalry and Field Weapons.

A melee infantryman armed with a short sword. Can gain the ability to torch buildings.
