A Sampson is the first available siege unit in the game. It is available from the Stone Age to the Copper Age. The unit is basically a strong man wielding a tree trunk. Since the Bronze Age, this unit can't be produced anymore.
Unit Strategy
The Sampson is unique among siege units in that it can only attack Buildings and Walls. Even the Flame Thrower, the only other siege unit available at the Barracks (WW2-Modern), can be used in actual combat. As such, it should be well protected, as a group of Sampsons will wreak havoc upon buildings but will get cut to pieces by any other unit. It may be the most durable unit of the Stone Age with 105 HP, but it is no use in real combat.
