Description[]
Philotas was one of Alexander the Great's generals since before the attack against Persia began. Once a close trusted friend of Alexander's, he would one day betray his king in an attempted assassination. He was executed for his treachery.

A Conqueror is Born[]
Philotas was with Alexander and the other general Craterus at Granicus where the first attack on the Persians began. The Macedonian army went down to Issus where they finished off the Persian army. Later, he was with Alexander when they met up with General Meleager. He fought alongside the other generals during the successful siege on Tyre.
