Description[]

The Outpost is a building in Empire Earth II. It is available in every epoch, and acts as a defensive structure. It can detect Spies, Observation Balloons, and Satellites.

With enough Outposts, the player can predict the weather.

In-game description[]

A defensive structure that can detect spies, observation balloons, and satellites and provides line of sight to the surrounding area. Upcoming weather can also be forecasted if a specific number of outposts exist on a map. The requirements are: 4 outposts for epochs 1-5, 6 outposts for epochs 6-10, and 8 outposts for epochs 11-15.
