More Valuable than Gold is the third scenario of the Maasai Campaign in Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy.
Briefing[]
In the year 2037, Dr. Karl Behr, a German geologist and physicist, made a startling discovery. While he was conducting experiments on improving mag-rail technology he discovered an element in a layer of rock that existed beneath the greater part of Kenya, but virtually nowhere else in the world. This element, later to be called Behrinium after the Nobel Prize winning scientist, had the amazing property of storing vast amounts of kinetic energy for long periods of time in a remarkably stable state. The discovery revolutionized the energy industry and the eyes of greedy politicians and corporate presidents turned hungrily to Africa.
Large quantities of Behrinium have been found in Maasai lands. You must expand and claim as many deposits as possible before the Burkeneji become established in the area. You will then export truck loads of Behrinium to Laistech's market. Laistech is a company willing to trade technology and military hardware in exchange for a steady supply of Behrinium. Unlike Globo Corp, they do not wish to take an active role in seizing the mining operations themselves.
- Your first objective is to build your first Behrinium extractor.

The Maasai and their new ally prosper at the shore of Lake Victoria. The military strength of the Maasai and the technology of the Kwafi make for a great alliance. A new resource, Behrinium, has been found in great abundance on the Maasai lands and many governments and corporations are competing for exporting rights. This will surely shape the future of the Maasai.

- Export as much Behrinium as possible. This will unlock other features in the mission. Bring Behrinium trucks to Laistech's market.
- Avoid attacking Nairobi directly. It is too well garrisoned and fortified and not important to your primary objectives.
