The Long Bow is the last archery infantry unit. It is obsoleted in the Renaissance Age by the emergence of gunpowder units. However, like the Trebuchet, the projectiles fired by the Long Bow can hit units behind walls ; so it have some advantage against gunpowder in walled fights. Its long range makes the Long Bow the perfect tool to mow down enemy Pikemen, Citizens, Priests and Prophets.
It is a ranged infantry unit which has lower rate of fire than the Composite Bowman, but has better range and deals more damage.
Upgrades: Armor piercing arrow which does more damage versus cavalry.
