The Jackal Fighter is the Digital Age upgrade of the F-15 Eagle Fighter. It closely resembles the modern-day F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, but it isn't V/STOL, unlike the JSF, which is. Being an air superiority fighter, it can only attack air units, but has more firepower than the contemporary Talon Fighter/Bomber, and would shoot it down first in a dogfight. It upgrades into the Nano Age Nebula Fighter.
