Description[]
The Hussar is a Frankish sword cavalry from the Gunpowder Age in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World that is good against archers and gun units. If the horse is killed, the rider grabs his rifle and continues to fight on.
In the Napoleonic Wars, General LaSalle, perhaps the greatest cavalry commander of the war, commanded the 5th and 7th Hussars, called the "Brigade Infernale". In 1806, LaSalle and 900 Hussars captured a fortress and some 6,000 Prussians without firing a shot.[1]
