Description

A Fishing Raft is a unit in Empire Earth that can be used to gather Food from sea-based sources, which is pretty much by fishing. They are trained in the Dock for 50 wood. Notably, fishing rafts are faster than regular citizens and can gather food faster, but offer no long-term resource patches such as the citizens' Granary and have no combat abilities.It is recommended, especially for players with a sea-based economy, to upgrade the fishing raft's Speed and Hit Points. They are available starting from the Stone Age up to the Copper Age.

Weaknesses

Any combat ships or ranged unit because it has no defenses but to flee.

Strengths

Since it is not a combat unit, it good at nothing but gathering fish. It is recommended that you guard them with some of your combat ships to prevent any ranged unit from sinking the fishing raft.
