Use
When you add images to an article, be sure they are of high quality, e.g. not pixelated. The .png format is preferred, as it has the highest quality, but .jpg is also acceptable.
Uploading images unrelated to Empire Earth is allowed, but obscene and violent ones are not under any circumstances. In addition, none of these images should be added to any of the official galleries. The use of too many images on the same article should also be avoided.
All images on this wiki should have the template Image Infobox on it in order to properly arrange and categorize them.
Please note that:
- Images uploaded should be used on a page within two weeks of its upload date, otherwise it will be subject to deletion.
- Images with any obscene or violent content will be deleted.
- Images may be replaced for better quality ones.
Licensing
Game screenshots and images taken from the game files should be licensed as Fairuse. In addition, images taken from other sites such as Empire Earth Heaven should be taken with permission and mention it as its source. If not, the images will be deleted and replaced.
Types
There are several recognized images types on this wiki and the following shows how to manage each of them.
Profile
Profile images are used in infoboxes. They should be named simply as "SUBJECT". Example: "Sentinel.png". If the subject has different appearances over the epochs, the image should be named as "SUBJECT - FIRST EPOCH APPEARANCE to LAST EPOCH APPEARANCE". Example: "Priest - Bronze to Middle.png.
Icon
Icon images are used as icons/buttons in the game. They can be obtained from the game files through certain extraction processes or simple screenshots, though the former is preferred due to higher image quality. They should be named as "SUBJECT Icon". Example: "Artillery Icon.png"
Map
Maps are images used as backgrounds on scenario menus. Maps are also in-game screenshots of an entire map. For the former, they should be named as "SUBJECTNAME Map". Example: "The Early Helladic People Map.jpg".
For the full map screenshots, they should be named as "SUBJECTNAME Full Map" Example: "A Conqueror Is Born Full Map.png". If in the case where the scenario background is the same as a full map screenshot, which is the case for Art of Conquest scenarios, the image should be named as "SUBJECTNAME Map".

Game screenshots.If the image is from a main scenario, the image should be named as "SCENARIONAME INCREMENTAL NUMBER". Example: "The Early Helladic People 001.PNG".
If the image is from a custom scenario or another part of the game (like a screenshot of a menu), the image name should be a descriptive one according to its main subject and purpose. Example:
Background
Artwork used for the menu backgrounds for campaigns and other menus. Note that Maps do not neccessarily fall under this category. They should be named as "MENUNAME Background". Example: "German Campaign Background.jpg".
Framework
Images used in the design and structure of the wiki. These images can found on be found on this page.
User
