Description[]
The Bomb Slinger is a specially-trained Korean soldier in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World who slings a lit gunpowder bomb with a timed fuse, which goes off after it lands.
Like other Korean infantry, it can use Martial Arts to temporarily increase its speed and rate of attack, which will afterwards decrease in a short recovery period (100 power, hotkey M).
A sophisticated variant of early gunpowder weapons was a bomb with a timed fuse. In addition to mortars, cheaper slings were employed so men could throw bombs a good distance by hand.[1]
Strengths[]
- Good vs. buildings and groups of enemies.
Weaknesses[]
- Weak vs. single units.
